- What size pump do I need?
- Estimate inflow rate, measure suction lift and discharge head including friction losses, and describe solids. A supplier can select a pump from its performance curve.
- Can I discharge water into the stormwater system?
- Only with the right approval and water quality. Sediment and contaminants may need treatment first.
- Diesel or electric pump?
- Diesel pumps are self-contained for remote or temporary work. Electric submersibles are quieter and suit sites with reliable power.
