It gives a planning signal based on broad distance, hire duration and access conditions. It does not calculate freight, machine suitability, permits, travel time, rates or availability.
What a supplier still needs
Provide the equipment class or work outcome, exact collection or machine origin, site address, transport dimensions, preferred delivery window and unloading conditions. Heavy combinations may require route assessment, permits or escorts.
A service area on a website is not the same thing as the actual machine location. Ask where the allocated unit is now.
Close the return journey
Define off-hire notice, collection access, who carries waiting time and when charging stops. Remote equipment may remain on hire until it can be collected under the agreed terms.
